The Handpipes are a plosive aerophone designed to be played with just your hands (hence the name) to deliver a wonderfully funky sound with a lot of soul. Easy to play, you’ll master them in no time at all with just a little practice. The diatonic tuning allows the musically motivated to play hundreds of tunes, be creative and improvise to their heart’s content.

These big, bold, beautiful bells have outstanding resonance, the bells produce deep tones which you can feel as well as hear.

Built with durable materials, designed to withstand tough environments, the center post is strengthened and the outer tubes fixed using stainless steel security screws located top and bottom. Each bell is capped to prevent debris from entering the bell and dampening the sound.

The set of seven chimes also comes with two metal posts, each with a large mallet attached by steel cables. There are a variety of ways that the chimes can be arranged, as the mallet posts offer a considerable amount of range. However, we recommend arranging them in a horseshoe shape to create a surround-sound effect and noticeable vibrations for anyone standing in the middle of the shape.

The Dance Chimes, designed by Alfons van Leggelo, consists of nine brass tiles, equipped with mechanical sound elements within a square casing. The sound elements below the beautiful tiles are activated by the pressure of movement-walking, skipping,jumping, and dancing. The dance chimes are an attraction for public places, such as gardens, and are especially well suited as therapy equipment for children and adults. A shut off device is available separately.

Spacers between each rock prevent the pinching of fingers as important calculations are worked out.
