Balance and muscular coordination are crucial to a child’s development. The Steppers were designed to promote these abilities. With four heights to choose from, the designer can use the Steppers in a variety of applications.

An essential skill for many sports and playing in general is maintaining balance while moving along a defined narrow path. To do this, an outstanding sense of balance and muscular coordination are required. EUROFLEX® Stepper balancing elements were designed specifically to help promote these abilities. The easy-to-install base socket (to be ordered separately) provides stable support and facilitates installation and removal.

Explore movement together! The Color Mixer Dish is a popular playground favorite. Choose between the three-colored or multi-colored flowing dish-shaped spinner which provides all users with a challenge and team-building skills. The “Wallholla” playground, designed by the Dutch company, Carve, continues to gain popularity since it was first designed in 2005. The original Wallholla developed when the city council of Purmerend, in the Netherlands, invited Carve to design a new schoolyard area. Among the long list of requirements were climbing and play activities to accommodate 60 children at a time and a large soccer field.

This vertical urban play structure combines several functions including different types of play and climbing opportunities as well as a fence for a basketball court or a goal for the soccer field. From this basic modular design developed three standard sizes and many component options such as slides, climbing walls, sliding poles and climbing nets and ropes.

With the multi-activity and space-saving attributes the Wallholla is ideal for urban environments that don’t have the space for the large footprint of traditional playground equipment.

Dynamic and multilayered, Newtown offers the combination of a large splash table, a distributing table, and multiple water channels designed to keep many children engaged simultaneously. A single winder pump provides the water for the entire system, with hand-operated check dams, drains, and weirs throughout allowing for complex play. As water flows along channels and tables, canny operators can work out hydro-engineering or observe the spinning water mill as it conveys water. This type of play offers sensory stimulation and motor skill development—making it perfect for solo play or highly cooperative social interactions.
