Water & sand are among the most important resources on earth. Undoubtedly. But both are also the most popular materials for play. Combined with our stainless steel water play system, they become magic on every playground. When planning the Blue Planet, the Copenhagen team of 3XN Architects decided to enrich their fantastic building with an entire water play landscape. The result is a fascinating play facility that fits perfectly into the award-winning architecture of the Blue Planet.

This water play lab consists of 3 water pumps, multiple stainless steel basins, troughs, a water spiral, water mill, water scale, whirl table, scoop wheel and mud tables. With countless ways to play with the flow of water, children are engaged in experimenting for hours. Children can then rest their minds and activate their muscles on the play climber and balancing balls.

Blue Planet is Northern Europe’s largest aquarium, consisting of 8 sections, 50 aquariums, thousands of sea animals, seven million liters of water within a 10,000 m2 building area and 2,000 m2 outside area.
